i’m maren from germany. i live in a little town between berlin and magdeburg. i have 3 years old identical twin boys.

i’m a new designer at kjoi studios. “schappys design” is my designer name.  i love designing and scrapping. my first kit pastell dreams was the first kit after the contest.

This is a really fun mini kit I did for a designing contest!  Everything is 300ppi, and the papers are all 12×12.  It has 5 papers, 5 buttons, 2 frames, a diecut daisy, a ribbon, and an alpha (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, punctuation, etc.).  Have fun!

Floral Inspiration Template

This is 2-12×12 psd layered templates, 300 ppi. I made them to go together, but they are also able to be used separately! This was a submission I did for a contest. Have fun with it!

I'm also delighted to announce the birth of Crop Dreams - a charity collaboration - in celebration of Filipino American History Month.

Crop Dreams - Charity Collaboration to Benefit Opportunity House.

Crop Dreams is a beautiful, fresh collaboration kit released this October 2008 to celebrate Filipino American History Month. This kit took inspiration from the agriculture, nature and island culture of The Philippines.

This begins Mabuhay Project’s journey of Filipino Artists from around the globe, collaborating to support charities, near and dear to their hearts. Mabuhay Project’s first beneficiary is Opportunity House, which provides much needed education and healthcare to poverty stricken children in Asian countries, like China, Malaysia and The Philippines.

In designing for Opportunity House, I personaly honor my babies in heaven and the babies that I’ve seen living on the streets of Manila, in the middle of a traffic jam, tapping my window for some change. It has been several years, since I graduated from college and moved back to the US. Yet, that image stays with me, saying they deserve a better future…asking me what will I do? This collaboration is one way for us to reach out to our littlest kababayans.
