Uploading a Layout

How to Upload a Layout

To upload a layout to your personal gallery, first click on the “Upload Photos” button that you will find on the right hand side of your main navigation menu bar that is situated just below the KJoi Header.

Having done so you will be presented with a dialogue screen that looks like this:

Choose a category to upload your images to - Member Galleries is the default setting here and unless you actually choose another gallery, your layout will be uploaded to your personal member gallery.
Or upload to one of your albums - If you have created any albums for sorting your layouts into, then you would be able to upload directly to one of those albums, by clicking on the drop down list and selecting one of them.
Select the photo you wish to upload from your computer - Clicking on the drop down “Browse” button will take you to a small “File Upload” screen from which you can access your computer’s hard drive and locate the file/layout you wish to upload. Click on the file to select it and click on “Open” and the name of the file will be loaded into the little box to the left of the “Browse” button. Below the five drop down “Browse” buttons you will see a box into which you can enter a Title for your layout.
Enter a description for the photo - In this box you can enter all the other relevant information for your layout, such as “Designer and kit used credits”, “Fonts used”, “Journalling” and perhaps a small anecdote about the layout itself.
Keywords - You can enter keywords here that you are likely to remember should you wish to use the search facility at a later stage (e.g. grandchild, family etc)
Upload/Submit - If at this point in time you, press the Upload/Submit button, your layout will upload to the gallery. However this is not the end of the process, there is yet another upload screen to go through before your layout is up there for everyone to view.

NB: You may upload up to five files at once, but doing so can be a very lengthy process, so it is always advisable to do one file at a time rather than sit waiting for ages for the site to process the information.

Having pressed the “Upload/Submit” button this is the next upload screen that you will be taken to.

As you can see from this screenshot, the layout will be uploaded to my personal CT Layouts album, as well as my personal gallery. I have also chosen to upload it to “Dees Delightful Designs” as the kit used, Taylor’s Playroom was made by Dee Bibbs, one of our KJoi Designers. Once you are satisfied that there are no further galleries that you wish to display your layout in, press the “Process” button and your upload will be finalised.
